LONDON FASHION WEEK

Dear Monday, I both hate and love you. I love you because it means, a new week, some new projects and excitements but I hate you because I didn’t sleep enough this weekend.

So in my last article, I was talking about my experience with Toni&Guy in London and now it’s time to talk about what I wore to attend these events. Attending a fashion week is always a huge excitement but it’s also a lot of organisation behind it. What should I wear? After attending some others Fashion Weeks (Paris – New York) I know now a little how it works. There is something to know regarding fashion weeks. Have you ever heard about street style? Let me tell you what it is. Actually, during all fashion week you have hundreds and hundreds photographer spotted around the shows locations who take pictures of people “attending” the shows. What’s the point? Actually showing what people wear and what is “trendy” now. Why am I talking about that? Actually this is the main reason why people invited go very well dressed (or even dressed to impressed) to the shows.

For my first day at the London Fashion Week, I was wearing this beautiful print skirt in calfskin fur from Lonchamp. I love the elegance of this piece with this splash of orange. To break the chic side of the skirt, I paired it with a loose-fit sweater from the brand Cheap Monday. I also wore this (SICK) pair of Kurt Geiger Over the knee boots. I have to say that I was looking for the perfect pair and I am so glad that I finally found the exact style I was looking for! My main accessories were, this mini sheep fur messenger bag from the brand Longchamp. I love the simplicity of this look, less is more!
